Something had to change!

Since introducing the Yeomans plough to our farm, which is predominantly undulating with sandy loam soil, gravel ridges,  and unproductive old cultivation we’ve experienced noticeable improvements across the board.

One of the benefits has been the increased moisture retention with virtually no runoff.

Even after heavy rain, water stays where it belongs.

Another benefit when used for reducing compaction there is minimal soil disturbance.

With the addition of tickle pots, it has given us the ability to under-sow existing pastures without destroying the current cover. This has allowed us to introduce new species and boost biodiversity seamlessly while the pasture continues to thrive.

Overall, since putting the Yeomans plough into use, we’ve seen multiple benefits that align perfectly with our regenerative goals — better water management, healthier soil, and more resilient pastures

It’s become an essential tool on our farm, and I highly recommend it to any farmer looking to work with nature rather than against it.

The photo below shows 2 paddocks, the far one has been deep tilled with a Yeomans Plow. The near one has NOT!
