Designed for Stump Jump Application
In stump-jump environments, conventional splitter blades can occasionally hook deeply under buried timber or root balls. The SBL‑SJ addresses this by maintaining a contoured, streamlined profile that reduces the tendency for the blade to dig under stumps and allows the shank and point system to ride up and over obstacles more effectively. This makes it particularly suited to new country, cleared land, scrub country, and paddocks with remaining root structures.
Like all Yeomans Splitter Blades, the Stump Jump version acts as a shin guard, shielding the shank from abrasive wear and impact damage while preserving Yeomans’ signature minimum-disturbance soil action. The blade is contoured to match the shank profile, the leading edge remains knife-like rather than blunt, and soil is fractured and lifted rather than smeared or inverted. This ensures the soil finish remains consistent with Yeomans Keyline principles even in difficult terrain.
